In the ground-floor entrance hall is the atrium, which is used for public events and exhibitions. Various rooms lead off from it, including the offices of the Deanery of the B/G Faculty, the Matriculation and Examination Departments and the Building and Service Management Office. Also in the Main Building the Mail centre is located.
The upper storeys are mostly occupied by offices. The exceptions are the "Salon 1" and "Salon 2" (formerly "Green Salon") meeting rooms as well as a tutors' room on the first floor next to the staircase, which can also be used for meetings. The International Office, the Study Advice Centre, the Internship Centre and rooms for professors and staff of the B/G Faculty are on the first floor. The second floor provides further office space for the Faculty, and the Laboratory for Virtual Worlds is on the top floor.

Administrative building (HL, Ofener Straße 19)

The Equal Opportunities Office is on the ground floor of this building. The chambers of the Vice President and the management of academic affairs are on the first floor, along with a conference room. On the second floor are the rooms of the Household Management, the Web-Service, the Press Office and a social room. The top floor is taken up by an archive and the Personnel Council.

Geodesy building (G)

This building is exclusively used by the Geodesy and Geo-Informatics courses, with their institutes. There is a GPS measuring station on the roof. The ground floor contains a workshop, storerooms and the lending office for geo-data measuring instruments along with the staff rooms and a conference room. On the first floor there are two more conference rooms and the labs for photography and photogrammetry with rooms for their staff.  The top floor is given over to workplaces of professors and employees, apart from a student workroom and a meeting room.

The “White House” (ZSG)

The offices in this building are all allocated to teaching unit G, apart from one room for technology transfer.

Lecture halls (V, Zeughausstraße)

In the basement of this building, used by the "Auditory Technology and Audiology" department, there are specialist workshops as well as labs/practical rooms with audio booths. The wings house an acoustic lab (first floor south) and a recording studio (second floor south) as well as the offices of the department's professors and employees. The central wing of the building has been converted for general lectures with seminar rooms, two data pools and working rooms for students (second floor).

Architecture (ZA, Ofener Straße 15)

The first floor is occupied by all of the Architecture Faculty staff and professors and also houses the  Deanery offices. Workplaces for students of architecture are on the second floor of the central and eastern wings.

Roughly half of the building is currently still being used by the former District Government.
