• Jade University promotes start-ups and innovation in the region

    The Institute for Business Creation and Innovation (UGI) is a cross-departmental and cross-location academic institution at Jade University of Applied Sciences, which is based at Department 4 (Research, Third Mission, Equal Opportunities).

    With this initiative, Jade University is emphasising its goal of not only giving greater importance to the field of business start-ups and innovation in its own teaching, applied research and development and enabling entrepreneurial thinking and action, but also specifically encouraging and providing qualified support for student start-ups. Furthermore, for the first time, companies in the economic region have an interdisciplinary contact point for business idea development and innovation management at the UGI.
