Department Management, Information, Technology (MIT)

The Department Management, Information, Technology is located on the campus in Wilhelmshaven
as are its study programs. All programs include pracitical applications and take into consideration the requirements of today’s job market. The main programs in the department are Engineering and Management, Business Computing and Media Management and Journalism.
The programs offer different options for studying: There are bachelor programs as well as master programs. Moreover, we offer an online program and a women‘s course in Engineering and Management.
All programs in our department are multidisciplinary. Our graduates are able to solve problems
taking both the requirements of the various company sectors as well as the customer into consideration. They are able to adjust quickly to varying situations and take into account both technical and economic aspects. In this way, they can cope with today‘s challenges: Companies competing internationally look for employees who see changes as opportunities and regard the company as an entity in order to manage interdisciplinary projects and teams.
