Study program

Successful completion of the Master’s program Engineering and Management  results in a Master of Engineering degree.

The regular study period is three semesters. The program is designed as a consecutive study program, which, as a rule, builds upon previous undergraduate studies in Engineering and Management or Business Computing. You may choose to continue with the Master’s program directly after your first university degree or later put your professional life on hold in order to further qualify yourself.

The implementation orientation of this study program is apparent in the high level of practical application which is supported by the exercises and case studies integrated in the modules, a practical project and the Master’s thesis.

The program may be started in every summer and winter semester. For those graduates who work in civil service, the degree provides eligibility for a career path in the higher grade of civil service.

A distinctive feature of this Master’s program is the combination of specialized skills and knowledge from Engineering and Management with Business Computing. To this end, one of the important contents of the studies is the modeling of business processes, which demands an integrated examination of material-, information-, and cash flow.
