TestDaF Intensive Course

The TestDaF Intensive Course will take place from 8 - 21 August 2018 at the Campus in Wilhelmshaven and is aimed at German learners who have already completed level B2 and are planning to take the TestDaF examination in the near future. The two-week course does not include standard language instruction, but serves to prepare specifically for the TestDaF exam.

The participants of the course are cordially invited to take part in the leisure programme of the "Summer German Course at the Coast" in the evening and on weekends in order to get to know other international students and to recover from the demanding TestDaF training.

Programme

The course comprises a total of 50 teaching units. From Monday to Friday in the morning, students are specifically prepared for the TestDaF exam in five 45-minute units. The training includes all four parts of the TestDaF examination (reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written expression, oral expression).

A special offer of afternoon activities includes:

  • Intercultural Training
In this course you will learn to strengthen your sensitivity for possible differences among other cultures' ways of thinking, communicating and acting. The acquired knowledge can directly be applied within the training.
  • German for Engineers
In this course you will learn technical vocabulary which is relevant in the field of Engineering. Moreover, you will get the chance to improve your skills in reading formulas.

In the evening and on weekends there is a colourful leisure programme, which is offered as part of the "Summer German Course at the Coast" and to which the participants of the TestDaF Intensive Course are cordially invited.
