Newly Appointed Staff Programme

The university regards teaching as a fundamental component of its mission and supports teaching staff in developing their teaching skills in a constructive and innovative manner.

Through the certificate programme for newly appointed professors, we offer you a wide range of advisory and professional development opportunities. Our aim is to ensure you have a successful and smooth start at Jade University of Applied Sciences and in your teaching role, to support your personal development as a lecturer, and to foster a spirit of collegiality and professional collaboration at all levels.

A key objective of the programme for newly appointed staff is to connect them with one another and facilitate a shared exchange on teaching and research.

The programme is run in cooperation with the Lower Saxony Centre of Excellence for Higher Education Didactics (kh:n) in Braunschweig. It is based on the quality standards and principles of the German Society for Continuing Education in Higher Education Didactics.
