    • Using the Library

      • Anyone can use the Library without registration
      • Our team will be happy to answer any questions about research and the availability of scientific sources
      • The entire stock is searchable via the cooperative regional portal ORBISplus, which we run in cooperation with the Oldenburg University Library and the Regional Library
      • A library card is needed to borrow books and other items

    • Registration

      Citizens of the Weser/Ems region:

      • Get a library card by showing a valid ID with an address (national ID or passport plus registration certificate)
      • Fee: €5

      Members of the Jade University:

      • Show your CampusCard and ID
      • No fee

      Please fill in our registration form during your Library visit.

    • Borrowing

      • Borrowing items is free of charge
      • The majority of the library stock is available for loan; journals and reference holdings cannot be borrowed
      • The loan period for books is usually 28 days
      • You can renew your loan up to 8 times online, by email, in person or by phone; reach us during opening hours

    Digital Services
