Libraries and services
As an academic library, we provide literature and specialised information at our 3 campuses to University members, companies and interested citizens of the region. We support schools, research, studying and teaching as well as job training and further education, and we cooperate with other libraries in the region.

The Library is located at the heart of Oldenburg Campus inside a modernly renovated historic riding hall.

A collection of around 67,000 printed titles on the subject areas of architecture, civil engineering, geoinformation, hearing technology and audiology.
Workspaces
88 workstations around the Library and 21 PC workplaces that are fully integrated into the university network. The Library also has a book scanner with a USB port and a multifunction device for printing and copying.
Elsfleth
The Library is located on the first floor of Building C (cafeteria building) on Elsfleth Campus.

Workspaces
56 workstations – including an accessible, height-adjustable “standing desk” – as well as 16 PC workplaces that are fully integrated into the university network. A reading area with 6 seats, a group room and a computer room are available.
Digital Services
The Digital Services (ZDS) department of the University Library handles the acquisition, controlling and administration as well as the technical-didactic preparation and communication of its digital information resources for all campuses.
In this way, we ensure that you will continue to find a diverse, up-to-date range of hybrid sources and services in the future, which accounts for the ever-changing teaching, learning, research and publication processes in the context of digitisation.

Teaching and Learning Services
The Teaching and Learning Services (SLL) team supports the use of Moodle in teaching as well as for co-working in the digital space. We are responsible for the administration of digital learning spaces and ensure that the portfolio of digital tools for teaching is up to date and compliant with data protection laws.
The needs and requirements of teachers and students are the focus of our work, backed by well-established didactic methods.
