Since October 2017, Mr Hu has been doing his doctorate at the Jade University of Applied Sciences in cooperation with the University of Rostock, initially funded by the Jade2Pro doctoral programme and since March 2021 as part of the DFG-funded research project "optiMuM", with the aim of writing a dissertation and the working title:

"Design optimisation of multimodal microsystems using topology optimisation and model order reduction".
