Abstract
The paper presents a soft switched multiphase DC/DC converter with a parallel resonant dc-link (PRDCL) circuit. First, the circuit function is described using a single- phase converter, the circuit analysis is then extended to interleaved multiphase converter. The challenge is to control the soft switching operation of several phases utilizing one resonant dc- link circuit The mathematical analysis is completed by numerous simulations. Finally,the feasibility of that circuit is proved by a 2 kW, two phase buck converter with PRDCL prototype.
