Abstract
This book contains the proceedings of the 15th International Joint Conference on Biomedical Engineering Systems and Technologies (BIOSTEC 2022). This conference is sponsored by the Institute for Systems and Technologies of Information, Control and Communication (INSTICC) and held in cooperation with the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), the International Society for Computational Biology (iSCB), the Swiss Society for Biomedical Engineering (SSBE), the German Society for Biomedical Engineering (VDE DGBMT), the Société Française du Génie Biologique et Médical (SFGBM), the European Health Telematics Association (EHTEL) and the European Alliance for Medical and Biological Engineering and Science (EAMBES). This year BIOSTEC was held as a web-based event due to the COVID-19 pandemic, from 9 - 11 February.
