Werdegang

Radostina Radulova-Stahmer ist Architektin (NL) mit Schwerpunkt Städtebau und ordentliche Professorin für Städtebau an der Jade Hochschule in Oldenburg und leitet das Fachgebiet für Regenerativen Städtebau. Sie berät Stiftungen im Rahmen von Forschungsprojekten und wirkt als Städtebau-Expertin in nationalen und internationalen Wettbewerbs-Jurys mit.

Ihr Interesse in Lehre und Forschung gilt der ökologischen Wende im städtischen und territorialen Maßstab. Im Besonderen arbeitet sie übergreifend an der Fragestellung, wie räumliche Gestaltung und raumbezogene Forschung dazu beitragen können, wieder innerhalb der planetaren Grenzen zu agieren und die Biosphäre zu regenerieren, um die Klimakrise wirksam umzukehren.

Radulova-Stahmer studierte Architektur am Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) und schloss ein Begleitstudium in Angewandte Kulturwissenschaften dort ab. Später studierte sie an der Technischen Universität in Madrid („ETSAM“ für Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid) und am Berlage Institut in Rotterdam.

Sie erhielt ihr Architektur-Diplom (mit Auszeichnung) vom Karlsruher Institut für Technologie. Ihre Promotion zum Thema „Stadtraum im digitalen Wandel“ schloss sie (mit Summa Cum Laude) am Karlsruher Institut für Technologie und der Technischen Universität Graz 2021 ab. Nach 10-jähriger wissenschaftlicher Berufspraxis an unterschiedlichen Universitäten wurde sie im Mai 2024 auf die Professur für Regenerativen Städtebau an der Jade Hochschule in Oldenburg berufen.
