According to Section 1 (3) No. 4 and Section 7 of the Enrolment Regulations, enrolment and re-registration for the following semester are carried out exclusively by transferring the fees and charges due within the applicable deadlines. The receipt of the money in the university account is decisive. No notification of fees will be issued.

In certain cases, such as during a practical semester or semester abroad, a refund of the semester ticket fee can be requested from the General Students' Committee (AStA). Exception: The refund has already been applied for due to a leave of absence. For further information, please contact the semester ticket office of the AStA, you can find the application form here. 

Information on financing your studies

Your study credit results from the number of semesters of the standard period of study of your chosen undergraduate degree program plus six additional semesters. For a consecutive Master's degree course, the study credit is then increased by the number of semesters of the standard period of study. Under certain conditions, the study credit can be increased; please refer to the application for an increase in study credit.

If your study credit has been used up, you can apply for an exemption or waiver of the long-term tuition fee.
