University Development Planning

On behalf of the Presidium, the University Development Planning department is in charge of capacity planning and calculation for the Jade University of Applied Sciences, as well as coordination with the state government’s university development planning body. This is where everything comes together in order to enable as many young people as possible to study at Jade University, and at the same time to meet our high standards of teaching quality and provide ideal support for our students.

We draw up and submit applications for new courses, provide advice on issues such as accreditation and re-accreditation, and support the departments in their communication with accreditation agencies and coordination of accreditation processes. Here, in close cooperation with the Student Affairs department, we provide the administrative backbone for future-oriented new courses and for optimal compliance with the requirements of the Bologna process.

The introduction of a university-wide quality management system is designed to create more transparency in our work processes, increase efficiency, and help teaching and research staff with administrative tasks. The ongoing externally-financed project “ProBeSt” (Program for Better Conditions in Studying and Teaching) will further improve the quality of teaching and studying at Jade University and sustainably optimise support services.
