Ausschreibung für Outgoings
Announcing two new scholarship schemes for incoming Study Abroad students in 2026 and 2027
La Trobe is offering both a scholarship and a bursary for Study Abroad students in 2026 and 2027:
1. Wominjeka Study Abroad Scholarship. This scholarship has two streams:
Stream 1: For students eager to explore the rich and diverse culture of Australia's First Nations people. Students must enrol in a minimum of one Indigenous studies unit/subject.
Stream 2: For students who face barriers to studying abroad due to personal, financial, or systemic adversity.
25% reduction in tuition fees:
4 subject semester package (60 La Trobe credits): AUD 11,200 - 25% = Total tuition AUD 8,400.
3 subject semester package (45 La Trobe credits): AUD 8,400 - 25% = Total tuition AUD 6,300.

2. Study Abroad Bursary (open to all students not receiving a Wominjeka scholarship): La Trobe recognises that the cost of studying in Australia can be a significant barrier for many students, and the rising expense of visas is an increasing concern To help ease this burden, we’ve introduced a new bursary: all Study Abroad students enrolling in a semester- or year-long program will receive a AUD 1,000 reduction in tuition fees. Students are not required to apply for this bursary.
AU$1,000 reduction in tuition fees:
4 subject semester package (60 La Trobe credits): AUD 11,200 - 1000 = Total tuition AUD 10,200.
3 subject semester package (45 La Trobe credits): AUD 8,400 - 1000 = Total tuition AUD 5,400.

VGU Economics and Finance Olympiad 2025
We are pleased to invite your university to participate in VGU Economics and Finance Olympiad 2025, a prestigious academic competition designed to identify and celebrate outstanding talent among bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. students in the fields of economics and finance. This invitation is extended to a select group of universities with strong programs in Economics and Finance, with the goal to provide a platform for students to apply their theoretical knowledge to complex real-world problems, demonstrating strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

Lecturers are invited to register their students for participation in the competition. Students may also submit applications individually; in such cases, they are required to provide the contact details of their lecturer or academic supervisor. We are cordially inviting you and your colleagues to join our upcoming 5th Winter Academy on Conflict Solution, Mediation, Justice, Social Responsibility & Ethics, Leadership & Communication Skills organising by Institute for Peace and Dialogue, IPD.
Winter Academy will take place in Basel, Switzerland during the 16 - 26 November, 2025 at the Hotel Rheinfelderhof.
Depends from the opportunities in the filled application participants can choose either Winter Academy or can stay for 3 month period as a researcher.
This program will be useful to get academic knowledge and as well work-field based experience by involved experienced experts, building fruitful network and spend unforgettable time in Switzerland.

Participation Procedure Step by Step:
Submitting filled application in WORD format till the Deadline
Participant will receive Invoice to start the payment of the requested participation fee amount
After receiving the participation fee, participant will receive the unconditional invitation letter via email and if there is required visa application process IPD will send invitation letter by post and also to the relevant embassy by email.
We strongly advice to the participants to submit the filled application as soon as it`s possible, who needs visa to enter Switzerland and who needs more financial documentation in the work place for his/her participation.
Scholarship: IPD offer several type of scholarship support to reduce the participation fee amount for most needed potential participants from all over the world counties.
If you wish to get discounted participation fee amount, please write your request briefly via email before or during the application submission period.
Unfortunately IPD scholarship sources do not cover all the participation fee amount and international travel expenses and we only could offer you discounted fee amount.

Der DAAD hat die Förderung von Projektvorbereitungsreisen im Rahmen der zentralen Maßnahmen sowie der Strategischen Partnerschaften veröffentlicht. Ziel ist es, die Planung des Projekts durch die direkte Kommunikation der Projektpartner zu unterstützen.
Das Angebot richtet sich an Hochschullehrer und deren Mitarbeiter, die im Rahmen aktueller oder bevorstehender Aufrufe im Erasmus+ Programm einen Projektantrag einreichen wollen.
