Prerequisites: Prerequisites: engineering students on civil or environmental, power or hydro stations, which are currently in their Bachelor/Master degree. Especially young engineers are addressed who already have the engineering background in water related topics. Engineering and related subjects with a keen interest in the topic and in the region of Kyrgyzstan can apply.

Scholarship:  GoEast Program of DAAD can funded about 6 student of a German university’s.

Participation fee: 1.200 € (including all costs for the Summer School program, except for air travel, visa and medical insurance).

Students of a German university can apply for a scholarship in parallel to their registration at the summer school “Kyrgyzstan – Hydropower, Ecology and Hydro morphology”.

gerne möchten wir Sie darüber informieren, dass der nächste Call for Applications für das ASEM DUO-Korea Fellowship Programme veröffentlicht wurde. 

Das DUO-Korea Programm wurde im Jahr 2001 im Rahmen des Asia-Europe Meetings (ASEM) initiiert und fördert den Austausch und die Mobilität von Studierenden zwischen der Republik Korea und 30 europäischen Partnerländern (27 EU-Mitgliedstaaten sowie Großbritannien, Norwegen und Schweiz).

DUO-Korea Call 2024 

Das Stipendium richtet sich an Bachelor- und Masterstudierende aller Fächer, die an einer deutschen Hochschule immatrikuliert sind. Gefördert wird ein Studienaufenthalt von der Dauer eines Semesters (4 Monate) in der Republik Korea. Dieser kann im Zeitraum von August 2024 bis einschließlich Juli 2025 absolviert werden.
Studierende erhalten ein Stipendium von insgesamt 4.000€. 
Das Programm basiert auf der Grundidee, Studierende jeweils im Tandem zu fördern. Ein Studierender einer südkoreanischen Hochschule studiert für ein Semester an der Hochschule des Tandempartners in Europa und der europäische Studierende absolviert einen Aufenthalt an der südkoreanischen Universität. 

Bewerbungsschluss ist der 20. Mai 2024.

das Büro für Hochschulkooperation des Institut français Deutschland/der Französischen Botschaft in Deutschland, in Verbindung mit Campus France Deutschland, freut sich Ihnen unser neues Sprach-Stipendienprogramm für Studierende an deutschen Hochschulen vorstellen zu können: die Sommer-Französischkurse. 

Worum geht es? 
1 Monat Intensivkurs Französisch (24 Stunden/Woche) im August 2024 am CIEL Bretagne in Le Relecq-Kerhuon in Frankreich. 
Das Stipendium umfasst außerdem: 
• Hin- und Rückreise Deutschland - Le Relecq-Kerhuon 
• Unterkunft: wahlweise im Studierendenwohnheim ODER bei einer Gastfamilie. 
• Freizeitprogramm: Besuche in der Umgebung, sportliche Aktivitäten, Kochworkshops etc. 
• Zulage (je nach Unterkunftsart) 
• Versicherung für die gesamte Dauer des Aufenthalts. 

An wen richtet sich das Stipendienprogramm? 
Die Sommer-Französischkurse richten sich an Studierende, die an einer deutschen Hochschule eingeschrieben sind und ein Studium in Frankreich (Bachelor, Master, Promotion etc.) planen, bereits Französischkenntnisse haben (Niveau B1) und für die Realisierung dieses Projekts das Niveau B2 benötigen oder ihre Französischkenntnisse darüber hinaus verbessern möchten. 
Priorität wird den Personen eingeräumt, die ein konkretes Studienprojekt in Frankreich haben und einen sehr guten akademischen Leistungsnachweis erbringen. 
Die Motivation für ein Studium in Frankreich wird ebenfalls besonders berücksichtigt, um die Stipendien zu vergeben.

Xamk is arranging a Summer School of Gaming (3 ECTS) on 5 – 9 August, 2024. We are delighted to invite your students to spend a week in the beautiful city of Kotka!

The summer school will focus on Essentials of Video Game Creation (3 ECTS) and will teach you how to create a video game by studying concept design and development. You will learn in practice how to develop a basic game concept, from an idea to a pitch, without needing to have a background of previous gaming studies. 

The classes will be held by gaming industry professionals:

•    Dr. Jan Storgårds: with over 25 years of experience in the gaming industry, he is entrepreneur, Director of CADGI (Cambridge Academy of Games and Innovation) and CEO of Cambridge Gamechanger ltd. He has also experience working with start-ups and early-stage technology companies including video games studios.

•    James Shepherd: CEO Cypherdelic Limited and Head of Studio at nDreams, who just recently published Ghostbusters VR. Double Bafta and Develop winning executive responsible for delivering multi-million selling products. He has been working for both Microsoft (creating the Xbox games community 'Upload' and the app 'Upload Studio') and Sony (delivering triple 'A' products including ‘Heavenly Sword’and ‘LittleBigPlanet’.

We are very delighted to announce the following summer program by UPM:
The UPM International Summer School (ISS) is a five-week multilingual study abroad programme, addressing some of the latest trends in technology, engineering and architecture, combined with a taste of Spanish language and culture in one of Europe’s most cosmopolitan cities.
The UPM ISS programme offers a wide range of short courses of varying length taught in Spanish or English. Participants are free to put together their own track by combining courses with compatible schedules. The UPM ISS gives participants the chance to learn basic Spanish language and culture, and the social programme includes weekend activities, such as day trips to top attractions like Toledo, Segovia and Alcalá de Henares, and guided walks around Madrid and visits to the Prado and the Queen Sofía Art Museums. 

The UPM ISS primarily targets international undergraduate and postgraduate engineering, ICT and architecture students, although professionals are welcome to join courses of their interest. 

The 2024 UPM International Summer School will run from 24 June to 26 July 2024 in Madrid.
The deadline for applications is 19 April 2024 (students will be admitted on a first come, first served basis). There is an early bird rate for students who register before 29 February 2024 and discounts for UPM students.

innerhalb der Initiative „Go East“ möchte der DAAD mehr Studierende aus Deutschland für Studien- und Forschungsaufenthalte in die Länder Mittel-, Südost- und Osteuropas sowie Südkaukasus und Zentralasien fördern. 

Go East Sommerschulen werden jedes Jahr von Hochschulen der Region zu den verschiedensten Themen angeboten. Finanziert wird das Programm durch das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF).

Seit dem 01.03.2024 ist es für Studierende möglich, sich an einer der ausgeschriebenen Sommerschulen in 15 Ländern zu bewerben:  Albanien, Armenien, Aserbaidschan, Estland, Georgien, Kasachstan, Kirgisistan, Kosovo, Litauen, Polen, Rumänien, Slowenien, Tadschikistan, Ungarn, Usbekistan.

Das zweigleisige Bewerbungsverfahren sieht vor, dass Interessenten sich bei der Sommerschule um eine Zulassung und beim DAAD um ein Stipendium bewerben. Der Bewerbungsschluss im DAAD-Portal ist identisch mit dem Bewerbungsschluss der jeweiligen Sommerschule.
